Arriving for your tour
Please arrive at the meeting point at least five minutes before the advertised start time so we can begin promptly.

Clothing and footwear
Manchester weather can be unpredictable! Please dress appropriately for the conditions on the day and wear comfortable footwear suitable for walking on city streets… we tend to walk around 2 kilometres on each tour.

Accessibility and distances
Our tours involve walking. If you’re concerned about the distance or pace, please get in touch beforehand and we’ll be happy to provide more details.

Alcohol and behaviour
For safety and enjoyment, anyone who appears intoxicated will not be permitted to join the tour.

Tickets
If you booked through a ticketing platform, you’ll receive an electronic ticket. Otherwise, your booking confirmation or payment receipt will act as your ticket.

Checking tours are running
Tours usually run as scheduled. Please check the website within 24 hours of your tour for any updates. If there’s no notice posted, the tour is going ahead.

Cancellations and refunds

• If the guide is unable to attend and no prior notice has been given, you will be offered a refund, gift voucher, or the option to rebook.

• If you are unable to attend, please let us know by email or text before the tour. You may transfer your booking to another date or join a different tour at no extra cost.

Group and corporate bookings
For private or corporate groups, a 20% deposit is required to confirm the booking, with the balance payable on the day of the tour.

• Cancellations made more than seven days before the scheduled tour: deposit refunded in full.

• Cancellations made within seven days of the scheduled tour: full fee payable.

Minimum numbers
Public tours require a minimum of 5 participants to run. If fewer bookings are received, we will contact you in advance to rearrange or refund your ticket.

Liability and Insurance
All tours are covered by public liability insurance up to £2 million. While every effort is made to ensure the safety and wellbeing of participants, guests join tours at their own risk. The guide cannot accept responsibility for any personal injury, loss or damage to property that may occur during the tour, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law. Participants are responsible for taking reasonable care of themselves and their belongings throughout the tour.
